Afghanistan Today-The GWOT Hotspot-Thurs. 7-9-09

Again there are stories quoting Army Gen. McChrystal and that he will sacrifice US and now British troops to save a possible Afghan civilian in a building. I wrote a scathing letter to my senators and representative disagreeing with this sacrifice of US and allied troops. I will try and link some of them below. I would suggest anybody who cares should contact their representatives and state that it is wrong to sacrifice US troops or our allies like this. I will try and link again the letter to the editor of the Las Vegas sun who opposed this policy early on.
