Another month of retrograde operations ends for US troops in Afghanistan, a still dangerous part of the world. The drug trade spills over into other countries, as seen at link one. Pray for US troops and that they will come home by 31 Dec. 2014 as scheduled, and not stay there another 10 years.

While Americans on the home front can be caught in a Black Friday shopping frenzy, American troops are engaging in retrograde operations in a still dangerous Afghanistan as they pack up equipment and close bases in order to be out of Afghanistan by 31 Dec. 2014. I do not believe the US should stay there 10 more years! We do not have the money to fund the Afghan military AND the US military. Links from around the GWOT:

Afghanistan Today, the GWOT Hotspot (The Afghanistan Scandal?) Thanksgiving Thurs. 11-28-13

God bless America’s troops around the world, in US Embassies abroad, and in war zones such as Afghanistan as we celebrate Thanksgiving today. I thank them for their service to keep us free and secure our liberty.

When they have been at war for more than a handful of years, then two handfuls, and going on about thirteen years in a country, it seems it is time to leave. It seems the US should leave Afghanistan now and bring our money home with us. See the story at link #1 which describes a situation where US troops may not stay in Afghanistan beyond the already set in place deadline to leave of 31 December 2014. The troops are in serious retrograde operations in this war zone now, closing down bases and packing up equipment in Afghanistan. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Links from around the GWOT:

1.) The US may not stay in Afghanistan past 31 December 2014. I think this is a good thing, and the US also can no longer fund the Afghan military while the US military faces cuts. The funding of the Afghan military must stop too. Link:

American troops face another Thanksgiving in Afghanistan tomorrow, May God bless and keep them, and bring them home no later than the date that is already set, 31 December 2014. Links from around the GWOT:

America’s troops remain in a hostile Afghanistan while retrograde operations continue to pack up equipment and close bases before the 31 December 2014 deadline for them to leave. Pray for America’s troops in this still dangerous combat zone. Links from around the GWOT:

Remember America’s troops in Afghanistan as we enter into this Thanksgiving season. God bless them and say a prayer for them as they continue retrograde operations in a still hot war zone.

As American troops continue retrograde operations in Afghanistan, let’s pray this Sunday that they are able to leave and bring our money home with them no later than 31 December 2014, and earlier if they finish packing up and closing down the bases beforehand. Meanwhile, Bati Kot, Afghanistan remains a terrorist haven. US Marines were falsely accused of killing civilians on 4 March 2007, the first ever MARSOC, Special Ops Marines deployed. All Marines were exonerated at a Marine Court of Inquiry in 2008. Bati Kot remains a dangerous place near the Torkham Gate on the Pakistan border. The latest “incident at Bati Kot”, which is the title by a Marine Mom (Google it), happened recently, and US Special Ops are accused of murdering Afghan civilians again! See the link at #1 and contact your elected officials concerning keeping US troops in Afghanistan past 12/31/2014. The US Congress should have a vote and represent the American people, not just Afghan elders and the US State Dept. Link:

As US troops continue in their retrograde operations, fallout from past scandals in Afghanistan abounds. See the link at #1 for details on the botched award process for military medals, and the loss of former Army Captain Will Swenson’s Medal of Honor recommendations. Continue to pray for US troops and that they will all be out of Afghanistan by the deadline already set, without an extension, on 31 December 2014. Links from around the GWOT:

Pray for American troops in Afghanistan as the US State Department is in talks with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to leave US troops there past the 31 Dec. 2014 deadline for US troops to leave. I am praying that the US does not leave US troops there, or spend money there that is needed here at home. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) When there is talk of an apology to Afghanistan, please remember the Ganjgal Ambush where Marines were left to die. Where is the apology from Afghanistan for US casualties? Link:

There was a story on FOX news last night with Megyn Kelly who had on as a guest retired Army officer Ralph Peters, discussing the stories about the United States President giving an apology to Afghanistan as part of a “deal” to stay in that country past the 31 December 2014 deadline. Peters DID NOT think this was a good idea AT ALL. I agree. I also had a feeling as I watched it, that American’s Gold Star families will be speaking up about this “deal” in opposition. I also feel that Americans must be represented by their Congressmen, and a vote be held with our Representatives and Senators as to whether the American troops, and American tax dollars will stay in Afghanistan past 31 Dec. 2014. Americans MUST be represented and Congress MUST vote on this policy. Links from around the GWOT:
