Another Halloween at war for US troops in Afghanistan. Let’s win this war and bring the troops home ASAP, BEFORE the 2014 deadline for victory. I would say secure victory now, and bring the troops home! Links from around the GWOT:

A fall weekend in the USA, just before Halloween, when the crispness in the air starts to turn into genuine cold, and for Americans, the thoughts turn to the World Series, a continuing of the college and pro football seasons, and on the news, there are reports of the upcoming Presidential election. But, for American troops in Afghanistan, they are in harm’s way protecting our freedoms. Pray for our troops, and for victory before 2014 so they can come home now. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Puzzling $94 million military contract. It seems many of the details of the contract pertain to Afghanistan, but it makes one wonder, as the US is leaving in 2014 whether they secure victory or not. Leaving earlier wit victory. So, why spend all this money on bases the US will be leaving? Link:
