334 days left for US troops in Afghanistan.

It is a still dangerous country, keep America’s troops in your prayers.

Links from around the GOWT:

1.) Canadian soldier, an officer who apparently had some problems at the end of his tenure in the military with fraternization, etc. returns as a contractor and now is in jail in Kabul. It’s a strange story with many twists. See the link for details. Link:

335 days to go for US troops as they complete retrograde operations in Afghanistan. God bless them and keep them safe in this still dangerous country. Another month comes to an end tomorrow, and after that, for US troops there are only: February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December left. Retrograde operations continue for US troops in Afghanistan, see the link at #1 for more details. Links from around the GWOT:

338 days to go for US troops in Afghanistan.

While enlisted troops face most of the combat in Afghanistan and previously Iraq, at least as I understand it, and suffer most of the casualties (deaths and injuries), the story at link # is about military brass behaving badly. Read the story for complete details.  Links from around the GWOT:

339 days to go in Afghanistan for US troops as they complete retrograde operations, packing up equipment and  closing down US bases. Pray for American troops in this still dangerous country.

340 days to go for US troops as they continue retrograde operations in Afghanistan. It is a still dangerous Afghanistan, and they are still earning combat pay, with US troops still dying and being injured as they work hard to close bases and pack equipment to be out of there by the 31 December 2014 deadline, which is approximately 340 days from today.

Links from around he GWOT:

1.) Afghanistan president Karzai still won’t sign an agreement to let US troops stay in his country past 31 Dec. 2014. I say the US government should honor the commitment already made: have all troops out of there by 31 Dec 2014. That’s just my opinion. Link:
