Bird/Swine flu, Air Force One flying over the skies of NY, and the wars continue in Iraq and Afghanistan. I can hardly believe the story that flying the 747 low over NY City was a photo op. Michael Savage on his radio show Tues. night said there were rumors there was a disgruntled Air Force pilot who hijacked the plane to show the presidency had been hijacked. Nothing makes any sense-nobody would fly a plane like that for a photo shoot. Imagine the cost, and the carbon footprint. They could have used PhotoShop to show a plane near the Statue of Liberty. There were fighter planes around the 747 too. Something is wrong with the story, but I don’t know what. Was is a psych ops mission to see what the reaction of the citizens would be to see a plane like that? I wrote my senators and representative and asked them for a DVD of the photo shoot since my tax dollars paid for it. I also asked, as I suggest other Americans do: Who was on the plane, who was the combat photographer, who was the pilot? What general gave the go-ahead for the so-called photo shots? I want to know if the general who approved it, has been demoted, and if they will be made to pay back the treasury for their mistake in letting this plane fly like this? Links:

1.) Mentions 8,000 Marines being sent to Camp Bastion, British base. The Marine extension will be called Camp Leatherneck. Link:

2.) Incorrectly states Obama is sending 17,000 combat troops to Afghanitan. They are not all combat troops. This can easlily be verified and I will e mail the authors of this article:

4.) Marine recon jumpers:

5.) A tale of 2 wars: Colorado Rep. visits Afghansitan, read last line or 2 in story-he wants to know what he is sending our “children” into in this war surge in Afghanistan:

6.) Must-read story on Americans ambushed in Afghan village:

7.) American support troops most urgent need in Afghanistan. Adm. Mullen needs to quit using the term “enablers” that has a bad connotation. But, then again, that is what we are doing, enabling the Afghans and Taliban:

8.) Fed’s knew 747 Air Force One flight low over New York would cause a panic:

9.) Swine/Avian flu may paralyze travel industry. I read elsewhere the US military told to watch troops for signs of flu:

While the Global War on Terrorism, the GWOT continues on around the world, right at home, memories of the 9-11-01 attack are still alive in NY City. A photo shoot went awry when the White House wanted a photo of Air Force one by national landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty. I don’t know what happened to their sense of environment, but they sent a 747 known as Air Force One when the president is on it, with fighter jets to buzz New York, and thousands of citizens panicked thinking it was another attack. Did they never hear of Photo Shop? They could have done it without causing any pollution or panic. Read stories below for updates if this sounds too untrue to believe! Various stories from around the GWOT follow:

1.) “Air Force One” and fighter jets buzz New York, causing panic yesterday! Jet flyover in lower Manhattan causes panic:

2.) Military watching forces for outbreak, don’t want to downgrade fighting force:

3.) White House causes terror scare over NY City:

4.) Obama photo op-stunt causes New Yorkers to run through the streets!

5.)  British Prime Minister calls Afghanistan-Pakistan border: “Crucible of terrorism”. That is a good title for it. Link:

7.)  Problems in Iraq early on in war discussed, British PM visits Afghanistan:

8.)  Afghan war could be on for a long time:

9.) Retired Marine now contractor in Afghanistan killed in attack on border:

10.) Various thoughts on Afghanistan, may need 400,000 troops:

11.) The Marines go extreme! Extreme PC!! Why would they remove their ballistic sunglasses and face possible blindness if something got in their eye? Why would they remove their dominant hand from the rifle, if right handed to avoid shaking with their left hand? If a female Afghan had important intelligence she wanted to give us, or if she was raped or beaten up, or warning us of an IED why would we pass up that chance to communicate with her as it could save US lives? Link to how Marines are training on how to brew and drink tea instead of training for combat; and why not call in the Peace Corps or State Department so the Marines can kill the enemy as they are supposed to do?,2933,518128,00.html

The world is now experiencing a possible flu pandemic. Some wonder if it is a terrorist attack in the Global War on Terror? The US government so far says it is NOT. There were warnings the US military should be aware of any flu outbreaks among its ranks. Various links from around the GWOT:

1.) Obama administration declares “EMERGENCY” over bird/swine flu outbreak, but says “no evidence” of bioterrorism. To me the no evidence quote doesn’t mean it is not terrorism, but they have not found out yet. Link:

2.) Americans told to wear masks as swine – avian flu spreads around the world:

3.)  NSA Chief to lead American cyber command:

4. ) Conficker virus begins to attack PC’s:

5.) Iraq claims US raid a “crime”:

6.) Another girl’s school burned down in Afghanistan:

7.) American troops arriving to where the British are operating in Afghanistan; excellent information for anyone sending a loved one to the fight in Helmand, and around Afghanitan:

With the US troops surge ongoing in Afghanistan, the Global War on Terrorism remains hot in Iraq. In the last few days over 150 Iraqis were killed in homicide bombings in that country, with many hundreds injured. Hillary Clinton visited there  Saturday, her first time as Secretary of State.

In the meantime a swine-avian flu hits Mexico City, and cases are in the USA. One story even reported that President Obama was greeted by a person in Mexico who died of the flu a few days after the visit, when he was there last week. Could this have been engineered by terrorists? I don’t know.

With the GWOT ongoing, God bless our troops, and God bless America. Links to various stories from around the GWOT:

1.) Bombers attack governor’s compound in southern Afghanistan:

2.) Gen. Petraeus wants all photos of detainee alleged abuse released. I am not sure how we can release these photos when we are at war and it could endanger our men on the ground. Perhaps Petraeus and all generals could make sure they are on the ground outside the wire on patrols the day they are released. Link:

3.) Pakistani children mistake bomb for “ball”: 12 die:

4.)  Many Iraqi citizens killed in bombings-over 150 murdered, hundreds injured in the last few days. Sec. of State Hillary Clinton made an unannounced visit. Strange that our top general in Afghanistan, Gen. David McKiernan gave away  to tribal “elders” (who could tell the Taliban and endanger US troops) the “precise location” our surge troops will be located in Afghanistan, yet Hillary’s visit is ‘unannounced’ in a more peaceful Iraq. Link:

5.) Iraq in “chaos”:

6.)  Afghan wheat crop looks good:

Action again in Afghanistan today with several reported Taliban dead. Of course, in a few days the Taliban Spokesman will claim they were “civilians”. Here we go again. Link to various stories:

1.)  Battle kills insurgents but only a matter of time before Pakistan or Taliban propaganda will say they were all brides! Link:

2.) Marine units “cobbled together”:

3.) Army intelligence officer says we have to change the way Afghan society thinks of women. If that is our mission, we will be there a long time I think. Link:

CNN keeps reporting the Taliban are on the march towards the nukes in Pakistan. Inept US generals should have let our troops win the war. Then they would have killed the Taliban and we would not have this problem. Various stories below from around the GWOT:

1.) Marine accused of rape has conviction overturned. Supposed victim changes her mind too. A must read to understand what our Marines are going through in the military legal system. Link:

2.) Crocker: Afghan war success hinges on Pakistan. And I might add: success hinges on US Marines killing a lot of the enemy, and Pakistan killing a lot of the enemy too. Ike Skelton states in the story Pakistan poses serious problems for US national security. Link:

3.) I only see one serving in a war zone, I don’t know why they aren’t all in the war zones with 2 wars going on, and pirates at sea? I don’t know, perhaps somebody could comment. Link:

4.)  Young soldier from Topeka, Kansas dies in Afghanistan. He is returned to Oregon where he lived. He leaves behind a young bride. I want to know where the apology is from President Karzai, and money for the family from the Afghans?

5.)  Some bumbling general made a mistake and sent these soldiers to Iraq, then had to turn around and order them to Afghanistan. I contacted my senators and asked them to investigate, as this is causing a large carbon footprint plus costing millions of dollars and also endangers our troops who trained for Iraq. Link:

6.) Hillary Clinton warns Pakistan may fall into enemy hands:

7.)  Militants in Talibanistan (former Swat Valley) pose a worldwide threat:

8.)  Bombings kill nearly 90 in Iraq as it begins to spiral downward:

9.)  Remote John Murtha Airport receives millions of tax dollars, named after Congressman who falsely accused Marines:

10.) British soldier maimed in Afghanistan where he lost his legs vows to return to the fight:
