Another March at war ends today. Another deadly month. Another month full of maimings. Let’s make sure America wins this war by politicians appointing ONLY generals and officers who have a culture of victory. They should instill this culture of victory into the troops they lead. Let’s win this war and bring the troops home as soon as possible. I will be cutting back on posts, but keep these troops in your thoughts and prayers, and pray for an American victory in this war. God bless America and God bless our troops.

NEVER FORGET! Cpl. Lowe, a Recon Marine killed along with two others on 1-11-10. These innocent Marines need justice to be served, and for it to be reported in the press. I have written my representatives and President Obama along with members of the House and Senate Armed Services Committee and have gotten no answer. The question is this: Has the enemy who killed these 3 innocent American Recon Marines been captured and held accountable? This is especially important to be answered before there are “talks” with the Taliban. This is a link I ran across about Cpl. Lowe, may he RIP. There are photos too. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Marine Cpl. Lowe, is one of 3 innocent Recon Marines killed 1-11-10 that we should NEVER FORGET. Let’s make sure justice is served and the enemy responsible for the deaths of these 3 innocent Recon Marines is arrested and held accountable, especially before there are any talks with the Taliban. The week leading up to Easter is another week at war for U.S. troops in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, in Russia, female suicide bombers blow themselves up and kill and wound many Russians. God bless the USA and God bless America.

Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Pres. Obama slips into Afghanistan to discuss US resolve. I hope he is serious about victory in Afghansitan, and replaces any general or leader who does not have a culture of victory he or she can instill into the troops they lead. Quote from Obama, “We are going to disrupt and dismantle, defeat and destroy al-Qaida and its extremist allies.”

President Obama jetted into Afghanistan yesterday. Reports said he rallied the troops. I am just jaded with the restricted rules of engagement in effect, and strongly believe we need political and military leaders with a culture of victory. This culture of victory should be instilled in the troops they lead.  God bless American troops, and God bless America. Links from around the GWOT:

The war goes on, and no end in sight. Gen. McChrystal goes on a “patrol” and one quote is it could go on for years! The reason I say “patrol” is because he had air support, helicopters, and drones flying overhead. I wonder if he would be denied air support?

Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Gen. McChrystal goes on “patrol”. I have to wonder why the media was given the exact number of U.S. NATO, and Afghan troops at this base? I thought this was a violation of operational security, and would endanger these troops. Unless these are false numbers to draw the Taliban into an attack. Link:

Our wars seem to have switched, from Iraq to Afghanistan. As I stated previously, as I wind down here, I will still post, but just not as many posts or as many links as before. Nevertheless, I support our troops and want them to be led by generals who have a culture of victory and can lead them to victory in any war they are sent to. Various links from around the GWOT:

Afghanistan remains the destination for many U.S. troops, the surges are still ongoing there, both the surge of March 27, 2009 and Dec. 1, 2009, with the first surge troops being replaced, so it is just not a one time surge.  They toil under restricted rules of engagement, and no end seems in sight although President Obama gave a date of 2011 for a withdrawal. That is about 8 months away. I pray for our troops and that the next eight months they are led by generals who have battlefield experience and a culture of victory which they can instill in their troops. Then, the Americans can win the war and come home. I am winding down here at the blog, not closing down, but for personal reasons won’t be reporting as much on Afghanistan, However, keep our troops their in your prayers for a victory in this war so they can come home and America will be secure. God bless the USA and God bless our troops and keep them safe. Links from around the GWOT:
