Riots and unrest in Egypt today. God bless our Marines at the US Embassy there, may they repel any attack or attempt to take it over. The streets of Cairo are burning. Pray for America and pray for U.S. troops around the world.

1.) Former Marine Commandant Conway to earn up to $30,000 per speech. I believe this should be donated to our wounded veterans in full. The Iraq Victory Medal has not been awarded yet, I suggest that $30,000 speeches are premature until victory is secured and the Iraq Victory Medal, and then the Afghanistan Victory Medal is awarded to our troops who served honorably in those wars. In any case, these funds should go to our troops he led and were injured in the wars. I don’t think anything else is honorable. Why not take an injured Marine who operated under Conway’s plans, with them on the speaking tour and give the injured Marine $30,000 a speech? I think I will write the company and suggest it, others could do this too. This is just my opinion, as far as I know we still have free speech in America. Link:

God bless American troops at war around the world in the Global War on Terror. May U.S. troops secure victory soon in Afghanistan and come home and bring our money with us. As evidenced in last night’s State of the Union Address by President Obama, the U.S. can no longer afford the $350 million a day for operations in Afghanistan. In addition, besides the $350 million a day, as American troops are injured, many requiring lifetime care, the VA budget, with a million claim backlog as it is, is ever-expanding. Let’s secure victory and bring the troops home and our money with us. God bless our troops and God bless the USA. I had also written the President and asked that he award an Iraq Victory Medal for those troops who served honorably in Operation Iraqi Freedom, but didn’t hear him announce the award. Hopefully it will be coming soon, continue to contact your elected official and encourage an Iraq Victory Medal for U.S. troops.
