Another month at war in Afghanistan comes to an end, the deadliest so far I have heard.

The war in Afghanistan drags on, and on, and on. God bless American troops.

Stories from around the GWOT:

1.) Sgt. Gonzalez was a very good man. Former Marine Food Service Specialist re-enlisted in infantry and was going to go to sniper school another story said. RIP Marine. He was a good man, a very good man. Link:

American troops fight courageously in Afghanistan, may God bless and keep them.

Meanwhile, at home, many return with injuries and PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) and need our prayers and support.

God bless American troops this Sunday and always, as they go outside the wire to keep America free, risking their limbs and very lives in Afghanistan.

Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Drug addicts in Afghanistan, also note the high number of police who use drugs there. Keep this in mind when you think of what was reported in the Washington Post: $2.7 billion dollars of equipment will go to the Afghans in the next eight months. Link about the addition problem in Afghan:

From the story:

“A measure of the problem is that surveys show that 12 to 41 percent of police recruits test positive for some form of narcotic — most are hashish smokers — according to a recent report by the Government Accountability Office.”

The U.S. braces for a hurricane on the East Coast, while U.S. troops face uncertainty day by day in Afghanistan. It has now come to the attention of the Marine brass that passing gas (farting) is insulting to Afghans, so Marines are told not to audibly pass gas. But, the Afghans can turn on our troops and murder them, or set land mines to maim or kill them. God bless the USA. Links from around the GWOT:

Another work week comes to an end, Americans who are working who have the weekend off have time to enjoy with family and friends. Meanwhile back in Afghanistan our troops toil for our freedom.

It’s a war without end it seems, for US troops in Afghanistan. God bless them. They now have the legal authority to defend themselves in battle. This is only fair that Congress passed this law since they toil under dangerous restricted rules of engagement which put their lives and limbs in jeopardy.

While American troops are threatened with restricted rules of engagement in Afghanistan, our Congress is finally apparently doing something, and trying to pass a law to allow our troops to defend themselves in combat. I have been writing them about this since 2007. I don’t know if it passed, but here is the basic information below at #1.

Links from around the GWOT:

1.) American troops are threatened by rules of engagement which favor the enemy in Afghanistan. Congress has finally put up for a vote, a bill that would allow our troops to defend themselves. I don’t know if it passed, I have to read more about it, but here is the information:

Another week at war for US troops. God bless them and keep them in your prayers.

In the meantime, the Houston VA is accused of religious discrimination, see post #1.
