I am still shocked and saddened at the death of Marine sniper Sgt. Rob Richards, found dead in his home Wednesday. May he rest in peace.

139 days to go for US troops in Afghanistan.

Why didn’t Gen. Amos, Marine Commandant worry about the safety and welfare of the Marine snipers and their families and get them treatment for combat stress and battle fatigue instead of wanting to “crush” them as other Marines are reported as testifying under oath that he wanted to do to them?

Now one of the scout snipers was found dead in his home. Sad, sad, sad.

I read early today that a NATO helicopter went down in Afghanistan. If it is a US helicopter, that is another expense the US taxpayer can’t afford. The articles said no casualties or at least no fatalities. In reading about PTSD, I read the article at link #1. God bless American troops and may they come home NOW and bring our money with them from Afghanistan, not almost two years from now on 31 Dec. 2014. Links from around the GWOT:

1.)  PTSD is mentioned in this article, various ramifications of such a diagnosis for our troops and veterans:

Another work week begins and all the while, US troops remain at war in Afghanistan for yet another week. God bless American troops who are deployed. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Author of best seller, “American Sniper”, and former Navy SEAL, Chris Kyle was murdered in Texas. God bless his family at this time of loss. I don’t understand the story as details are still coming in, but initial reports are that the American sniper with the most kills, Kyle, who was highly decorated in his military career, took a former Marine with PTSD onto a gun range with loaded weapons for shooting practice to help him deal with his PTSD? That doesn’t sound right, as I don’t think a highly trained former SEAL like this would give a Marine  dealing with PTSD a loaded weapon. This is about all I know, the details will be coming out in the days ahead. I hope and pray that US troops suffering from PTSD will get the treatment they need and deserve through the VA and Department of Defense for those still on active duty, and there are professionals to deal with their PTSD and get them treatment. Another December 12th at war, this time, 12-12-12. God bless American enlisted troops. May new leadership with a new strategy arrive soon, so they wan win this war in Afghanistan and come home in victory soon, long before the 12-31-14 date set for retreat. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Protective underwear for the genitals of American troops. This has been too long in coming, after many US troops lost their genitals or had them damaged. The US generals who put out this strategy which got US troops maimed need to face court martial for negligence and dereliction of duty. Bring in new generals with a winning strategy, win this war quickly and come home in months with our money with them, don’t just wait to retreat on Dec. 31, 2014. US enlisted troops want to win. Let them have leaders with winning strategies. The US cannot afford 2 more years of this conflict. Link:

American troops spend another weekend at war in Afghanistan, please keep them in your  prayers.

In the meantime,  while America is being driven toward the financial cliff by President Obama, the news comes out from Judicial Watch about his part in accelerating the speed we go over the cliff with his spending for his daughter’s spring break trip to Mexico, which is reported to be $115,000. That actually sounds low to me! Does that include the Secret Service accommodations and food, along with the First Daughter’s expenses and accommodations and that of her 12 friends she brought along on the trip? There is a breakdown of prices, but I was not sure if this was for the Secret Service, or for the cost of the First Daughter and her friends? See link at #1. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Spending like this is accelerating President Obama’s drive off the financial cliff:

2.) Ethics reviews to begin for American military brass. These perks need stopped, such as the 4 enlisted service members cooking for now retired Adm. Mullen. There should be MARITAL FIDELITY AUDITS to weed out integrity violators, for all US military officers, starting with the top generals, on down. Adultery is a violation of the UCMJ and they should be prosecuted. Link:
