Tomorrow is V-J Day, August 15, 1945. The day we celebrate V-A Day can’t come soon enough! Victory in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Afghan survivor of the attack in which 10 Christian aid workers were killed tells his story.

God bless the USA and God bless our troops. May victory in Afghanistan come soon.

Also, I am still reflecting upon the movie I saw yesterday, and highly recommend, RESTREPO. Go see it! I will list the trailer again below. Captain Kearney and his Army Rangers give interviews after they returned to Italy, and there is extensive footage of the Afghan villagers we are trying to win the hearts and minds of, as well as combat footage. All Americans should see this movie for insight into what is going on in the war.
