Another week at war for U.S. troops. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

1.) The AP is reporting as breaking news, something American enlisted troops on the ground, and some other reports have already said: the military is not reporting all of the attacks on Americans by members of the Afghan military or police. Contact your elected officials after you read this if you so desire. Link:

American troops the fighting season as soon as the poppy crop is harvested in Afghanistan, an increasingly dangerous period in that country. In the meantime, Secret Service scandals are swirling during this time of war, and a government official says that the prostitution scandal was not a security breach. This is odd since he didn’t even know this was going on it appears, and the prostitute not getting paid is what brought it to the attention of American officials. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) Administration official, who did not even know the Secret Service had “knuckleheads” guarding the president, his family, and others, says there was no security breach with the prostitution scandal:

While our enlisted troops are on the ground in Afghanistan, often being shot at or killed by the very Afghan troops or police they are training, it very much concerns me that while a nation at war, the Secret Service and related military members on the Presidential security detail are out partying, drinking and having sex with prostitutes.

I still believe the spring break trip of the Presidential First Daughter should be investigated, when she and her friends were escorted to Mexico last month by at least 25 Secret Service agents and military service members there for security reasons. It should be determined if Secret Service agents were together with foreign nationals, such as prostitutes, and/or drinking in Mexico while there to guard the First Daughter.

I believe the Secret Service agents need a chaperone like on a high school field trip. I would actually take a few days or week of vacation in service to my country I love, and be a chaperone for the Secret Service on a trip, making sure they were in their rooms without prostitutes, testing their breath for alcohol, and making sure they behaved. I think it would take a few moms on every trip, or dads, to watch them and act as chaperone. We are a nation at war, the Secret Service and military of security detail should act like it. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) More on the Secret Service scandal. I don’t think it would just take more female agents, they could be enticed by the party atmosphere too. I believe a few parents, especially military parents should go along to act as chaperone while the agents are in their hotel rooms. like a chaperone on a field trip, checking their rooms unannounced, making sure they didn’t break curfew, making sure there were no prostitutes in their room, making sure they were not drinking or drunk and handling firearms, etc. I would suggest that you would get many tax paying Americans who would volunteer to be chaperone for the Secret Service. While U.S. enlisted troops on the ground in Afghanistan pay, the Secret Service and some military members with them on the Presidential detail play

It is wrong, wrong wrong. I would volunteer to go with the Secret Service on their next Presidential assignment and be a chaperone or monitor at their hotel.

I would make sure they were in their rooms by 9 or 10 pm and without prostitutes. We could take breath samples to check them for alcohol like at a high school prom.

With U.S. taxpayers watching them, their bad behavior should cease, and their dealings with foreign nationals. This is a time of WAR after all, with US troops paying the price with their lives and limbs.

This lack of operational security the Secret Service exhibited, and the military members with them, stems from a lack of proper supervision it seems. When they get a few moms and dads of troops in Afghanistan going along with the Secret Service as chaperones on trips and monitoring them in the hotels, this behavior will cease. The Global War on Terror continues and U.S. troops on the ground in Afghanistan especially face danger daily on patrols. Pray for American troops, and contact your elected officials on their behalf.

In the meantime, Secret Service agents and other military personnel party and hire prostitutes. The military has laws against this. The Secret Service has rules against this. This needs thoroughly investigated.

I also have suggested to President Obama and my elected officials, that the Mexican trip the First Daughter went on for spring break last month needs thoroughly investigated for the behavior of the Secret Service on that trip. Reports said 25 agents went to protect the First Daughter and her friends, plus an advance team of agents and military. Was the First Daughter in any danger? How did the agents behave on this trip?

1.) More incidents of Secret Service behavior described as “immoral” in El Salvador: hiring prostitutes and the like. This needs to be thoroughly investigated. The spring break trip of the First Daughter to Mexico needs investigated too. Link:

Pray for our troops. God bless them and God bless America.

1.) Women Marines to go to infantry officer school. The story states Congress must decide if they can lead Marines in combat. Isn’t this wasting money and a slot that might be needed in battle, if we train women Marines at infantry officer school and they cannot be infantry officers? Link:

2.) Personnel chiefs call for Tricare rate increases. A suggestion: quit spending $2 billion a week in Afghanistan. Don’t plan to pay billions for Afghanistan’s military for 10 more years. We need the money to take care of our own. Tell Karzai to use the money he is getting from China and other countries for other mining rights. Link:

God bless American troops in Afghanistan getting ready for the Taliban’s spring fighting season. While they are working, other military members and the Secret Service are hiring prostitutes and drinking and partying in Columbia, and who knows where else? In a time of war this lax security is ongoing? Other trips need investigated. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) American Secret Service agents under investigation. I believe they should investigate more trips, including First Daughter’s spring break trip to Mexico. Was she in any danger while Secret Service agents partied. This should be investigated. Same with the military team sent to Mexico too. And check out the behavior on all the other trips too. This is a violation of security and American people deserve better, we are paying their salary. Link:

Saturday in the USA, a fine spring day, people shop at Costco, Wal-Mart, or at the mall and go out to eat and enjoy their day off. But, in Afghanistan US troops are on patrol, risking their lives for our freedom. Pray for US troops. Pray for safety. And pray for victory so they can come home soon! Links from around the GWOT:
