Afghanistan Today, the GWOT Hotspot (The Afghanistan Scandal?) 5-13-12-Sun. Mother’s Day

Another Sunday, another Mother’s Day at war for US enlisted troops on the ground facing land mines and terrorists on patrols. Pray for them. In the meantime, some of the officers are passing out US taxpayer money such as seen in the photo below with the big lottery sized check for $10,000 in the form of a micro grant to an Afghan citizen. I believe this money should be given in micro grants to the injured US troops who need handicapped vans, homes remodeled to fit their wheelchairs, and for other type incidentals. As an aside, the general in the photo, Brig. Gen. Jefferey Sinclair of 82nd Airborne was relieved of command and a criminal investigation is in progress, for unknown reasons, or at least no reason has been given to the general public. Links from around the GWOT:

1.) $10,000 micro grant, US tax dollars, given to Afghans by BGen. Jeffrey Sinclair, when it should be given to American service members injured in war. Congress should put a stop to this expense and make sure the micro grants first go to American troops, starting with the injured. Link:

2.) Secret Service probe by US Senate. In addition to Columbian trip, it is my personal opinion the First Daughter spring break trip to Mexico should be investigated, and questions answered, such as, was she in any danger due to this type of behavior on the Mexico trip? It would be strange it seems to me that this behavior by the Secret Service did not go on in Mexico while guarding the First Daughter, but just all of a sudden out of the blue happened in Columbia? They should investigate all trips going back a year I would say, at least. Contact your elected officials. Link to story:
