Afghanistan Today-The GWOT Hot Spot-Tue. 11-3-09

Still no word on how many troops the President on the United States will send for the second troop surge in Afghanistan. His first troop surge started on the day he gave his March 27, 2009 strategy speech, and consisted of 21,000 extra troops total. A lot of them are coming home now, for Marines on 7 month tours, and their replacements are coming in. In the meantime, the exact number for the second surge is being debated.

God bless, and pray for our US troops, so we can have a swift and decisive victory, and Afghanistan Victory medals awarded. I have written my representatives and wondered when the Iraq Victory medals will be awarded for our Iraqi Freedom vets. No response yet.
