Afghanistan Today, the GWOT Hotspot (The Afghanistan Scandal?) 1-25-12-Wed.
Last night, President Obama, Commander-in-Chief began and ended his State of the Union Address with references to the U.S. military and its successes, but what I didn’t hear was the awarding of the IRAQ VICTOR MEDAL for U.S. troops who served honorably in Iraq.
I have requested of him on multiple occasions along with my elected Senators and Representative to “get crackin’” on issuing the IRAQ VICTORY MEDAL with MOTTO: “VICTORY THROUGH STRENGTH” for all who served honorably there, and suggested the first medals could be awarded at the State of the Union Address.
God bless American troops. With the speech over, may our elected officials now get crackin’ on the IRAQ VICTORY MEDAL with motto VICTORY THROUGH STRENGTH for all our Iraq vets who served honorably, and were praised in last night’s speech, but sadly, this medal was not awarded at that time.
