Afghanistan Today, the GWOT Hotspot (The Afghanistan Scandal?) 1-18-12-Wed.
Today, Wikipedia has gone black to protest internet censorship bills proposed by the US Congress. They have a link if you go to their site to contact your elected officials. In addition, Google today has a black bar over the Google name. In signing in to WordPress, they have black marks on their opening page and “censored” over blogs. I was wondering myself who this would affect just normal run of the mill Americans who have small blogs like those here at WordPress. I believe the in the US, our internet should remain free and uncensored, it is a great way to get the word out on various subjects, such as the wars our country is in, the trials and tribulations our troops face, contractor scandals, political scandals, and any number of other information we have begun to depend on via the internet, including recipes, maps, and just a general exchange of information. Let’s keep our internet open and available to inform America and the world!
