Afghanistan Today-the GWOT Hot Spot-Mon. 7-6-09
Things continue to be hot in Afghanistan, and going to get hotter.

2.) U.S. general in Afghanistan, Marine Brig. Gen. Larry Nicholson removes his glasses and helmet on purpose, in a bazaar, to buy a watermelon. This sets a bad example for U.S. Marines who need their protective gear on, including ballistic glasses, and should not get lax like this.
